Officially endorsed by China's leading air transport trade associations
Asian Aerospace 2011 was official endorsed by both the China Air Transportation Association (CATA) and the China Civil Airport Association (CCAA), the two most influential industry trade bodies in China. CATA represents the joint interests of more than 50 airlines, air freight forwarders, aviation service providers, aviation academies and regional associations, whilst CCAA membership extends to almost 100 individual airports & airport groups that handle 99% of passenger and freight traffic across the country. Both associations play an influential role in expanding international co-operation, exchanging information and setting industry standards.
High profile members of CATA include Air China, China Eastern Airline, China Southern Airline, Hainan Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines. Major airports belonging to CCAA are located in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Tianjin, Xiamen and Xian.
The support from The Civil Aviation MRO Association of China (CAMAC)
The Civil Aviation MRO Association of China (CAMAC), the official industry trade body representing the interests of both international and Chinese MRO companies operating in the huge China market, joined forces with Reed Exhibitions to play a prominent role at Asian Aerospace 2011 in Hong Kong. CAMAC membership extends to almost 100 companies and includes global MRO leaders including AMECO Beijing, China Aircraft Services, GAMECO, Lufthansa Technik, Honeywell and TAECO, as well as major Chinese carriers like Air China, China Eastern Airline, China Southern Airline and Shenzhen Airlines. Since its foundation in 2007, the association has been playing a strategically important role in the development of China's MRO industry.
