Sichuan Airlines gets V2500 engines for eight more A320s

China's Sichuan Airlines has ordered the International Aero Engines (IAE) V2500 powerplants for eight Airbus A320s that will be delivered between 2011 and 2015.

IAE also signed a long-term aftermarket services agreement with the airline, says the engine manufacturing consortium.

Sichuan has 85 A320s in service and on order.

Announcement

The next edition of Asian Aerospace (AA) and Air Freight Asia (AFA) scheduled to take place in Hong Kong in March 2013 will be postponed. This is in response to customer feedback and the continued very challenging outlook for the commercial aerospace and civil aviation industry.
