Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) has signed an agreement with China Construction Bank (CBC) for financial co-operation.

The bank will provide Comac with 50 billion yuan ($7.46 billion) for use in its large aircraft programmes, say local news reports.

CBC will also provide help to Comac for cash management, foreign exchange control and financial consultation, add the reports.

Comac's C919 aircraft will seat up to 190 passengers and is being offered as a competitor to the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737 families.
