Asian Aerospace 2009: First Roadshow Stop - Zhuhai
Engaging China's robust civil aviation industry, Asian Aerospace kicks off its extensive road show campaign around the country with a giant step in Zhuhai.
Asian Aerospace launched its large-scale China road show campaign last week by hosting a customer appreciation dinner at the Holiday Inn Zhuhai on November 5, leveraging the presence of industry stakeholders at the Zhuhai Airshow. The function was preceded by a series of high-level meetings with various key industry players including bellwether customers to further build and strengthen key relationships and support for the world's leading civil aviation event to be presented next year in Hong Kong in September 2009.
Over 70 industry players from China and beyond, attended the function including Mr Anthony Tam - Assistant Director-General (Airport Standards) of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, Mr Wang Weibin - Director of China Air Transport Association (CATA), Professor Tian BaoHua - President of the China Aviation Management Institute of China (CAMIC), a division of CAAC, Mr Wang Wei - Vice Managing Director of Air China's Business Jet Company and Mr Dieter Hilzinger from Becker Avionics.
Professor Tian provided an informative briefing on the future prospects and emerging trends of the civil aviation industry in China including the business aviation sector. The presentation demonstrated clearly China will be the fastest growing commercial aerospace and civil aviation market in the world, despite the bleak economic outlook in most parts of the world arising from the financial crisis. Professor Tian's presentation can be downloaded here.
As part of the wider marketing campaign to promote Asian Aerospace in China, the Asian Aerospace road show program is part of the extensive suite of new and exciting marketing initiatives to bridge 'east and west' and suppliers with buyers, specifiers and recommenders, by delivering cutting-edge industry and market knowledge.
